Welcoming Maciej
We are delighted to welcome Maciej to the team. His multi-disciplinary capability, strong academic background, and experience in the field are the perfect match for Pacertool. Among other ventures, Maciej has collaborated with clinicians and software developers to build novel data analysis methods.
He also worked on improving diagnostic efficiency and treatment of certain cardiac diseases, including hypertension, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and others. During his Ph.D. work, he focused on creating computational heart models, for physiological and mechanical simulations. Working with researchers at GE, he co-developed a method for the fully automatic segmentation of echocardiography images without the necessity for manual labeling.
Maciej will be part of our software development team, focusing on research & development activities including the application of usability engineering to better meet the clinician’s needs.
